Judarskogen Nature Reserve was Awarded the Urban Quiet Park Status on August 18, 2022

The nature alternates here with open meadows and hilly woodlands with the lake Judarn centrally located.

Throughout the area there is a network of walking paths and trails. You can walk around Lake Judarn and experience the lake's changes and a variety of nature types.

In the north, the lake is surrounded by wetlands that form an excellent habitat for amphibians, among other things. All of Stockholm's amphibians are represented here, even the larger newt has been found. The newt is a lizard-like amphibian with a beautiful mating costume.

If you go out at dusk on an April evening, you can hear the frogs playing by the lake.
