On September 12 and 13, 2026, Quiet Parks International hosted the second annual World Soundwalk Days, bringing together listeners in 83 locations around the world — on every continent except Antarctica.
Guided soundwalks took place in neighborhood parks, forests, and urban green spaces, inviting people to slow down, step outside, and truly listen to the living world around them.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all the guides who led walks, shared their time, and helped communities experience the power of deep listening. We also thank our collaborating forest-bathing partners: the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT), the Scandinavian Nature and Forest Therapy Institute (SNFTI), and The Forest Bathing Institute.
Together, we advanced our shared mission: protecting quiet, reconnecting people with nature, and highlighting how much the living world supports our health and well-being.
World Soundwalk Days will now continue as a yearly global event. Save the date for next year, and join us again as we celebrate listening, quiet, and our connection to nature.
Going out, experiencing, and listening to nature should preferably be done as often as possible - we all need the connection to nature. We also highly recommend the full forest-bathing experience. Find a location close to you through our partners: ANFT, SNFTI, and The Forest Bathing Institute.
